Created Pika to quickly generate shareable screenshots
from boring screenshots. Previous workflow included
involvement of Figma in which I had to open the app
and then figure out the background gradient and shadows etc.

Here's how it works:

- You just paste your screenshot
- Customize the screenshot, add background, shadow etc.
- Copy the output image, or save it as PNG on your machine

Pika saves your previous settings so when you load it again,
it'll retain your last settings.

Pika is open-source and
the [code is available at Github](http://github.com/rishimohan/pika).

**Update (September 07, 2022)**

- To increase the scope of what Pika can do,
  I've added [mockup templates](https://pika.style/templates)
  which will let users design mockups for various use cases,
  for e.g [App Store template](https://pika.style/templates/mobile-app/app-store-play-store-screenshot)
  to design screenshots for App Store pages,
  or [code to image template](https://pika.style/templates/web/code-image)
  to create shareable images from code snippets
- Templates will also help in getting diverse organic traffic
  since it'll target very specific keywords
- To achieve Templates, I've rewritten major chunk of
  components that can be used commonly along
  all the templates

Maazi is a personal diary app, which I wrote to practically learn React native, enough that I can create standard app and good enough to be pushed in App stores. The app lets your write diary entries or record as voice entries and store in cloud. Your account data is secure and can only be accessed by you.

Maazi

Qurb lets you generate mockup for iPhone X/XS/Max, iPad, MacBook and other devices quickly. Just select the device, add your screenshot and save the mockup. All the devices are designed in CSS, thanks to [Oleg](https://marvelapp.github.io/devices.css/). Also when you add your screenshot, it's not uploaded anywhere.


Qurb


ZINX is a technology and design blog I started in 2013. Back then, I used to spend a lot of my time playing video games and reading about latest technologies and design trends. I've written over 500 articles on the blog since then and it's been the most successful blog I've made.

From [Mashable](http://mashable.com/2013/10/20/gmail-login-redesign/#3ttfo8_azgqf) to [SmashingMagazine](https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/10/the-ultimate-collection-of-useful-photoshop-actions/) to [9to5Mac](https://9to5mac.com/2014/06/11/how-some-of-your-favorite-mac-apps-could-look-when-os-x-yosemite-launches/), ZINX has been mentioned on a lot of popular blogs and magazines. But the bigger and important thing is, it has helped a lot of users from around the world discover new apps and services.

ZINX isn't just about tech and design though, after getting an Android phone, I've started reviewing apps on the blog and I really enjoy reviewing apps. And not only Android apps, there are tons of reviews of Mac, iOS and Web apps as well.

Developers work very hard and spend a lot of time working on apps like Raindrop, or on a game like VainGlory, and I feel that good work should be noticed by more people. That's my primary goal behind ZINX, to promote apps, services and games which are beautiful and deserve every bit of attention. For example Escriba, it's a very simple yet visually appealing web-based text editor and is very useful if you want to write Markdown on web, but not a lot of people know about it just because it isn't popular. There are lots of apps like that which are good but aren't popular. If you want to discover such apps, go ahead and check out Mac, iOS or Android archives on the blog and I'm sure you'll find some good ones.

Unfortunately, my interest of writing my own apps and travelling has taken over my old interest of blogging and so I don't get time to update ZINX. But I'll be back some day and will update the blog with more articles.
